GADSDEN, AL (WBRC)- The latest forecast shows Etowah County getting three to five inches of snow, with ice accumulating, especially in higher elevations.
In response, Gadsden's public works department has two slag trucks ready to go to work on the city's roadways.
Icy conditions could be especially tough in such higher elevations as Lookout Mountain and Noccalula Falls, and also Sand Mountain along the Etowah County border with Marshall County.
So far, only Cullman County Schools have announced a delay due to the
weather. They will delay school for two hours on Thursday morning.
